WE ARE DREAMERS…
We have a beautiful old building with a great sanctuary and plenty of space for ministry and events. Once upon a time, the church had many members. Then… What happened to many old churches happened here as well… The church slowly became smaller.
We are now down to a small but growing congregation. But we are dreamers! We are looking for revival and to build the church we dream to have: A friendly space filled with people who love God, are seeking answers, hope and comfort.
Be part of this dream and join us on the journey!

The vision which God has given us is simple:
We pray, study, and work together so that we, ordinary people, can lead Extraordinary Lives through Jesus Christ. We believe that God has called us together to change lives and our world for the better.
What is a Federated Church?
We are made of a merger between two congregations: one from the United Church of Christ (a.k.a. the Congregational Church) and one from the United Methodist Church.
What does it mean?
The beliefs are the same. The difference is in the structure of the denomination on an administrative level.
So what are our beliefs?
-
God's grace and salvation are available to all.
-
We have only two sacraments: baptism and holy communion.
-
The Bible was inspired by God but written by men and, consequently, subject to study and interpretation.
-
God loves EVERYONE unconditionally.
-
Salvation cannot be earned, but faith means doing good works for others, the earth, the world.
-
We believe in social justice and equality for all.
-
We believe in "walking the walk", being the hands and feet of Jesus in the community.
-
We believe in "talking the talk", being the voice of Jesus to others.

Who is welcome at the United Church of Christ? Everyone! If you are new to the “church thing”, we know that entering a church for the first time, or the first time for a long time, can be scary and intimidating. We will do everything to make you feel comfortable. You can take your time to explore our faith at your own pace.
